Rescue, Spay & Neuter, Provide Sanctuary!

[Library/shared/themed-object.htm]

Free Roaming Sanctuary

Most cat rescues focus on finding a home for a cat or kitten.  Our sanctuary focuses on providing our colony a safe, remote, caring facility without walls.  The forgotten ones, the feral or stray cats of the world don't do well in confinement, so we provide them with what they need the most, freedom and safety.

Our Intake Program

We get asked alot why we have such a long list of vet services we require prior to intake for a cat.  There are many reasons, but the top and most important, is the health of our herd.  Ensuring the health of our cats is just as important as their physical safety.

Adoptions

While we focus on providing a sanctuary and furrever home for our normal herd cats, we once in a while will get a cat or kittens that could really benefit from a single cat life,  or in the case of kittens, a family and a home to love them.  For this, we have developed a Barn Cat program, and a Kitten Adoption center.

Testimonials

"The folks at Cat Haven Ranch have been wonderful to work with. They have been a contributing factor in the Fayetteville Animal Shelter reducing the euthanasia rate dramatically. They have been a great resource for us in saving animal's lives."

- Anthony R., Fayetteville Animal Services

"We began working with Cat Haven Ranch early in 2013.  They have helped save over 40 feline lives by working with us to relocate feral cat colonies, and a couple unfortunate hoarder situation.  If you are looking for honest, hardworking animal lovers who operate on a shoestring budget, you can stop looking here."

- Lynne M., Feline Rescue & Rehome (FuRR)

"We have been working with Cat Haven Ranch since late 2011.  They have helped us establish a feral cat relocation without euthanization program.  Prior to Cat Haven Ranch, there were little to no options for "feral" cats in Washington County.  They had 100% euthanization rate."

- Angela L., Washington County Animal Services

"Cat Haven Ranch and Save Our Strays have worked on several TNR efforts together where relocation instead of return was necessary for a feral colony.  The volunteers are very dedicated, and the ranch is beautiful."

- Nancy M., Save Our Strays

"Stray Central has successfully relocated around 10 cats over the last year with Cat Haven Ranch. They are always willing to go out of their way helping us transport the cats from multiple Northwest Arkansas locations to their sanctuary in Missouri. "

- Lisa B., Stray Central
